We're starting a new project at work that involves monkeys! They're a lot of fun. We did some concept stuff for it today. Stacey has a wicked cool technique that she used for her piece. I decided to test it out too. It was definitely an exercise in shape.

Oh my gosh, I feel like I just vomited into photoshop and saved it as a jpeg. Gross. But... the clouds were fun! And... I learned a bit about brushes. So it wasn't a total waste, I suppose.

We drew for close to an hour today. oops. This was stinking hard, though! I have so much respect who can actually do this kind of art. Negative space is a tricky beast.
